1995 Bosch-Blaupunkt was one of the first
manufacturers along with Grundig to introduce a DAB
ready car radio. Bosch-Blaupunkt's first ever
DAB products included the Hanover 106 A and Hanover
106 D which came equipped with a data terminal screen
for data transmission. The Hanover 106 A
was an audio only DAB car radio.
Blaupunkt (the
marketing and sales section of Robert Bosch) then
launched a DAB black box on November 12 1998, as well
as a set of DAB ready headunits.
